Every year in the first quarter, the National Reserve “Hetman’s Capital” together with the Charity Fund of Hope Vovk “Berehynia” hold a children’s creative competition “ROZUMfest”.
The competition “ROZUMfest” is named after the Hetman of Ukraine Kyrylo Rozumovsky, whose life and activities for over two centuries have been a model of devotion and patriotism. The main goal of the competition is to popularize the state activities of Hetman Kyrylo Rozumovsky, to reveal the contribution of his family to the cultural heritage of Ukraine and Europe. The topic of the competition is also relevant to the history of the Hetman’s capital Baturyn, a city whose history is a vivid example of understanding Ukraine’s constant struggle for its own state and independence; a city that was the Hetman residence of Demyan Ignatovych, Ivan Samoilovych, Ivan Mazepa, Kyrylo Rozumovsky, and Pylyp Orlyk.
The competition is held among children and youth aged 6 to 18 and has nominations: “Word”, “Art”, “Decorative and Applied Arts”.
