Abstract: The collection of scientific works “Baturyn Antiquity”, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the tragic death of the hetman’s capital, contains studies by researchers from Ukraine, Canada, Russia, Sweden and Italy. Based on newly discovered and little-known documents, including archaeological artifacts, many of which are first introduced into scientific circulation, the book highlights the development of Baturyn in the early modern era in the context of the history of the Ukrainian Cossack state.
