Every year on the basis of the National Reserve “Hetman’s Capital” there is a competition “Brains-fest”, which is designed for students of secondary schools and primary specialized art schools, students of colleges and schools.
The competition is held in the categories: “Word” and “Decorative and applied art”.
The purpose of “Brain-Fest” is to find gifted children and young people, to form a creative culture among the younger generation and its patriotic upbringing. Discovering and awareness of the significance of Hetman Baturyn in the history of Ukraine through the prism of the activities of Ukrainian hetmans Demian Ignatovich, Ivan Samoilovich, Ivan Mazepa, Pylyp Orlyk and Kyrylo Rozumovsky.
